I doubt your goint to find a legitimate “free” advertisment service. if you do then well your pretty lucky. look for websights that advertise other things and make sure they pertain to your websight. (a cooking website would be a good place to advertise free recipes)

1) go to http://www.google.com … go to the advertising link … read the tutorials .. and register your domain .. it’ll take time to varify .. but at the end it’ll be there in the search engine .. and that is the best advertisement you et for free.
2) Do the same with http://www.yahoo.com
3) Modify the Meta Taes on your pages to have the key words you want to drive the trafic.
Have you tried Craigslist? or Gumtree?
These are free sites that pull in a lot of traffic. You can advertise on these easily..
List the site in directories like http:// http://www.5business.net. Provides some traffic, but more importantly a backlink from a quality source that will help your organic search engine results.
