Q&A: Do any of you know of any websites that offer free advertising?

Post your WANT. It’s like Craigslist, but reversed. And really different. At Ubokia, you’re the rockstar. Post exactly what you want and sellers respond to you. Only talk to sellers you choose.

Query by MBGourmetCandles.info: Do any of you know of any sites that offer you free advertising?
I have have a operate at home enterprise and I was looking for methods to promote on-line. Any ideas?
By the way, I promote candles so something that is appropriate with that would be a plus. Thanks

The best advertising is to get your website in the search engines and using the html codes to enter words that search engines look for. Words that pertain to what you do on the web.

I believe that Craigslist.com will do free advertising for you. Also, I know a site that will do free business cards for you and give you other promotional things for free as well. All you do is pay the shipping, which really isn’t that much. The site is vistaprint.com. I have used them for over a year and saved hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars. (Realtor here)

You could’ve posted your site here for free advertising, but to answer your question:
* Try web rings. http://www.webring.org Its free, and you add a bit of HTML code to your site to join.
* Be sure you have META tags to your site so search engines find you.
* Add a profile on http://www.myspace.com as well as http://360.yahoo.com/ and any other online community, making sure to add a link back to your web site
* Add an email signature to ALL outgoing emails you use that includes a link back to your site.
* When you do any advertising offline, ADD THE WEB SITE! I’m always surprised how often people forget to do this.
* For about $ 30 or so, you can add vinyl lettering to your car and advertise everywhere you drive. http://www.speedysigns.com
