I am planning a event and would like any free advertising sites?

Post your WANT. It’s like Craigslist, but reversed. And really different. At Ubokia, you’re the rockstar. Post exactly what you want and sellers respond to you. Only talk to sellers you choose.

Do you know of any?

Advertise your business on free classifieds, relevant forums and social networking websites. Monitor the response you get periodically to find out what works best. From http://ad5.info

If you event is for a non-profit, a fundraiser or for your community there are — usually — many ways to advertise it for free. Local newspapers include community calendars, radio stations can help with announcements or PSAs, ask stores and shops to post flyers (don’t do it without asking permission first), ask the local Chamber of Commerce to notify their membership, approach community organizations (like Rotary, Jaycees, Kiwanis, etc.) and ask to speak at their meetings and to spread the word. Look around your town and see what other organizations are doing.

If your event is for a business then free advertising is harder to come by.

Here is a forum that is based only on freebie’s, there is a recommendations part from the admin and he says about a site where you can get to top search in google for FREE.
Make sure you check out the other stuff too and post some things of your own, advertise your site for free in the affiliate part! 🙂
