Does any one know a good way of free advertising a small business?

Post your WANT. It’s like Craigslist, but reversed. And really different. At Ubokia, you’re the rockstar. Post exactly what you want and sellers respond to you. Only talk to sellers you choose.

Question by you rock: Does any one know a good way of free advertising a small business?

Nothing is free. Be creative. Contact other business and ask if you can put your business card in their office and you will do the same for them. Trade so there is no monetary value lost. Buy decals for your vehicles that advertise your business. Leave business cards at restaurants.

Here are some free web marketing tips.

Not all web marketing needs to cost money. Aside from website submissions, there are a number of things that web marketers can do that are free, though they may be rather time-consuming. Other marketing tactics are relatively inexpensive, and are often well worth the investment.

Follow these basic steps to market your website and business.

Write short articles that talk about unique problems
your potential customer would have. Make sure
that the articles discuss your location, etc. so that
anyone using the search engines looking for a plasterer
in South Yorkship would come across you.

Look for busy websites offering free advertising like
CaigsList, or even regional portal websites.

For example, my hometown of Navarre, Florida has
a site that offers free advertising. It’s at:

They also sell ads, but you can list an unlimited
number of free ads on the local portal AND those
ads can be added to a wordwide searchable
database for free.

Also look for busy new websites that use free
ads as a way to attract new traffic. My favorite

That’s a discussion forum set up to discuss a
specific product on doing product launches, Jeff
Walker’s Product Launch Formula, but I’ve run
several ads there that have made sales for me.
